A gathering of adoptive families from Washington and beyond — where we come together to have fun, build connections, and celebrate every kind of family.​

About us

Family camp is run by adoptive families, for adoptive families. We are self-funded, are staffed by volunteers, and we try to keep costs low while providing as many different opportunities as possible.

Beautiful scenic setting

 Staying at Sun Lakes gives us access to the lake, a pool, boating, hiking, fishing, mini-golf, time with family, basking in the sun, and more! 

If you need a break from the fun, each unit is equipped with an AC unit, or swing by the snack shack for an ice cream!

Family-centered fun

Any adoptive family can attend, no matter how your family was formed or where you're from—come one, come all. You're welcome whether you are an adoptee, parents of an adopted child, a biological sibling, or birth parent. The whole family is invited.

We have a myriad of activities for all ages and interests. Know that you can attend whatever events you want to, but all families are encouraged to attend the major evening activity each day.
