Teen and tweens
We organize evening activities for campers ages 13 and up, including movie nights, cooking together, board games, and more.
Camp features many activities during the day for ages 9-12! Our tweens have a ton of activities to choose from, including things like our popular ninja warrior obstacle course and making jello.
Biking
Sun Lakes is set up for a ton of biking fun. Trails wind through the campground and several fun rides head off around the lake. Bring your bike and have some fun!
Swimming and boating
Sun Lakes sports both a pool and lakefront amenities, giving you an ample opportunity to cool off and splash around with your kids. At the lake, you can rent an assortment of row boats and recreational watercraft.
Activities
Family Camp features a myriad of activities for all ages and interests. Your family is welcome to attend whatever events you want, but we encourage all families to attend the major evening activity each day to connect with the community. We have activities for everyone:
-
Potlucks for sharing family and cultural dishes
-
Opportunities to perform in the spotlight
-
Sports and physical activities, including volleyball, ninja warrior competition, a ninja course for kids, family water balloon fights, and more
Programming will be updated before camp, but click here for an example of activities in 2018 and 2019.
Arts and crafts
Express yourself through our many creative activities, including beading and painting, tie dye, and dressing up for our fashion and talent shows.
All-camp events
Show your performance chops at the evening main stage, including a fashion show, dancing, and more. Plus win prizes at our camp carnival and silent auction.
Potlucks
Getting together and sharing food is one of the amazing experiences at Adoption Family Camp. We gather for the "Taste of the World" where families make dishes from all over the globe. We also have one dinner and one breakfast potluck every session.
